"Diwa ng Pasko", Celebrating the Spirit of Christmas

Christmas is one of the biggest holiday Filipinos celebrates. In fact, in the Philippines, Filipinos start decorating the town and their houses as soon as September hits. But more than just the decorations, Filipinos truly celebrates the reason for the season, the spirit of Christmas is felt all across the country.


And that is what Fil-Am of SCV does every single year. They bring the Christmas spirit to the Filipino-American community and they have been doing it for 39 years.


As always, friends gathered for a potluck dinner, Christmas caroling, fun games, singing, dancing and of course, a visit from Santa Claus.



President Jackie Martinez welcomed our guests, Auditor Ronnie Tejada DJ'ed the night away and the rest of the Board of Directors and Trustees had so much fun bringing the spirit of Christmas. And Santa Claus definitely did not disappoint, he showered the kids and the young at hearts with Christmas gifts.


It was indeed another successful Christmas celebration, to see the kids and everyone smiling and enjoying the evening, gives Fil-Am of SCV team such a joy and gratification that they have brought the Christmas spirit to all.
